About
Brasil IT+ is a sectorial program born from the partnership between ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and SOFTEX, aimed at promoting the internationalization of Brazilian software products and services in the global market. Our mission is to support Brazilian institutions in a safe and efficient journey to conquer new international markets.
The Brazilian Technology sector has a variety of player profiles, which offer the production chain an immense portfolio of services, spread across the five regions of the country. Easier access to tools for creating and validating new tech-based businesses has transformed economic dynamics in recent years. The global market’s continuous demand for new solutions drives Open Innovation and its strategic importance for corporations.
The performance of Software and IT Services Companies, originally served by Brasil IT+, combined with the performance of these other actors, such as Science, Technology and Innovation Institutes – ICTs and Startups, are fundamental for the strategic management of the sector, ensuring its international competitiveness, facilitating the internationalization process and the sustainable increase of its exports.

Thus, in 2024, with the start of a new agreement, Brasil IT+ gains momentum, adding two new audiences: ICTs and startups. Still focused on supporting the internationalization of these institutions (companies, ICTs and startups), the project diversifies its base of operations by prioritizing the participation of institutions located in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil and of companies with female leadership. The goal is to decentralize and expand the scope of the opportunities offered by the project, strengthening the institutions and their ecosystems.
More than just promoting Brazilian technology abroad, Brasil IT+ certifies its quality and capability, ensuring the delivery of practical, innovative, and high-performance solutions. This excellence comes from Brazil’s unique combination of strengths: business expertise, creativity, flexibility, diversity, robust infrastructure, and a long tradition of successful partnerships.
We are committed to reinforcing the global reliability and high quality of Brazilian information technology. To this end, we develop various initiatives aimed at positioning and strengthening the industry, including:
- Participation in strategic international events;
- Availability of commercial intelligence data through intelligence studies with diverse content as a way of sharing knowledge about business and internationalization, supporting the start, consolidation or expansion of companies' operations in the international market;
- Conducting training sessions with information on the best ways to develop your business abroad;
- Availability information on an internationalization support network, with the aim of facilitating, through networking, the procedures related to the company's international expansion;
- Engagement with opinion leaders and potential buyers, showing the world Brazil's differences and expertise in the IT sector;
- Development of a community aimed at Brazilian institutions participating in Brasil IT+ to encourage networking among companies in the sector to exchange experiences and information regarding their ventures in the international market.
